Therapeutic indications

Enbrel® is approved across 7 indications, including paediatric indications1

Juvenile idiopathic arthritisRF-positive or RF-negative polyarthritis and extended oligoarthritis
  • Enbrel is indicated for the treatment of polyarthritis (RF+/-) and extended oligoarthritis in children and adolescents from the age of 2 years who have had an inadequate response to, or who have proved intolerant of, methotrexate.1
Psoriatic arthritis (PsA)
  • Enbrel is indicated for the treatment of PsA in adolescents from the age of 12 years who have had an inadequate response to, or who have proved intolerant of, methotrexate1
Enthesitis-related arthritis
  • Enbrel is indicated for the treatment of ERA in adolescents from the age of 12 years who have had an inadequate response to, or who have proved intolerant of, conventional therapy1​​​​​​​

Enbrel has not been studied in children aged less than 2 years1​​​​​​​
